Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta to open a new dealership, riding academy, and event area

Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta will be parked in a more convenient spot for Augusta, GA motorcycle enthusiasts.  Currently located in a 26,000-square-foot facility on Belair Frontage Road, owner Rocky Timms is relocating and expanding his dealership to a 40,000-square-foot complex with a riding academy and event area on Mason McKnight JR Parkway. The new Timms Harley-Davidson dealership broke ground in late 2022 in The Apex and is situated next to Camping World and adjacent to Northern Tool along Mason McKnight JR Parkway.

“We’re excited to move our facilities to The Apex and expand our offerings in the Augusta market,” said dealership owner Rocky Timms. “For the last five years, Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta has served the CSRA and we believe the relocation as well as a new and innovated complex will adhere to both existing and new riders in the area.”

The new facility will feature open-air spaces, a high-street boutique style, and large windows to provide natural lighting. The concept and design, inspired to combine an Annabelle and modern feeling, have been created to aid the customer sentiments of both new and existing riders. Timms Harley Davidson of Augusta will continue to offer a full line of Harley-Davidson merchandise, parts, and accessories, as well as aftermarket products and a service department with expert technicians to keep your motorcycle running strong. The complex will also include a driving academy for riders to acquire and maintain off-road permits, licensing, and additional education.

“The expansion and relocation of Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta is a testament to the health and growth of the Augusta economy, as well as the premier location of The Apex Complex,” said John Engler, Vice President of McKnight Engler, who assisted in the purchase of land to Timms Harley-Davidson.  “With the dealership being developed near to Northern Tool, Camping World, and CarMax, The Apex continues to broaden options for recreational offerings and establish itself as a one-stop-shop for automotive, recreational vehicles, campers, and now motorcycles.”
